A day of small surprises

That was the first surprise I got yesterday at Dynamis – Qufim.  I placed a bid of 15 points earlier but the two people who wanted it before me weren’t online.  So, guess what?  I get to lot on it since I was the sole lotter for it and I beat another LS mate by 5 points for it.

Wyrm Belt dropped, but I passed it to the next person on the bidding list. ^^  It’s more fair than getting two items the same day.  And, the other person is Dragoon more often than I am as of late.  I do wish still I could use Dragoon more.

My RNG is level 66, close to 67 so I now have something to look forward to in a little over three levels. ^^

(And, I get to sell my Swordbelt+1 now. LOL)

I can’t wait to get to 75 now.  I have War brais and Scout’s belt waiting at level 70, and of course Optical Hat.  By 75, I have Osode and Buccaneer’s Belt, which I’ll probably use for WS.  I am now considering on changing Mirke Wardecors to RNG build now with Snapshot +5% and Ranged Attack +10.  But, first I’ll have to wait until after Thursday when weekdaysLS does Dynamis – Tavnazia.  I am hoping Etoile Casaque -1 drops, which means I’ll forgo on getting Enkidu’s Harness off Tinnin.  *crosses fingers anxiously*

If you guessed the pearlsack for weekdaysLS then you guessed correctly.  Yesterday, I was made one of the sackholders of the LS.  It took me by surprise honestly as I’m not one of the older members of the LS.  I’ve joined about three months after they formed last year.  And, given the complaints I’ve given in the past to certain decisions and how vocal I can be when I see something wrong, I am really surprised they wanted me as their next sackholder.

But, the leader, Erdekaiser, told me himself that overwhelmingly the entire leadership asked me to be sackholder.  So, I’m very honored to be chosen sackholder, and hopefully I don’t mess up and do a good job at it.  I haven’t been a sackholder for an LS in four years.  I’ve been sackholder twice before– one for a social LS, Cygnus, and a second time for a Sky/Dynamis LS, Relics.

I guess, “third time’s the charm,” right? ^^;  I hope this works out.

Well, today, I helped lead my first event– Bomb Queen Ring.  That went very smoothly, and each of the seven pops we did took two to three minutes.  It’s funny though that four years ago before merits, before all this “uber” gear and job adjustment, Bomb Queen Ring usually meant a wipe or two per pop item; and every fight took nearly thirty minutes or more.  My, my, how the times have changed.

Anyway, let’s see what tomorrow brings. ^^
